Don’t worry. Getting solutions to your legal problems begins with our three point plan.

1 Get in touch with us – and don’t worry!

If you worry about talking to a solicitor because of costs or talking about a problem because it’s difficult, then please don’t. We understand that can be hard to make the first move towards legal action and we try to make it as easy as possible.

We are very open about our fees and are able to make an assessment for Legal Aid very quickly. In fact, we offer a free initial interview with our assessment staff to work out if you are eligible and to help you apply.

2 Let’s talk – tell us about your issues.

The first thing we’ll need to know when you get in touch is what your problem is. We can do this in a number of ways. You can pop in to our Barnstaple office or, if this is difficult, we can arrange a short telephone appointment. We may also be able to offer you a short Skype interview. Alternatively you can simply send us an email.

If, for some reason, you can’t get to see us, we can often come to you. Once we know what kind of help you need we can then work out what we think will be the best way to help you.

So, to get that ball rolling, get in touch. Our door is always open, as they say.

3 Make plans – so we can make things happen.

The third stage is agreeing a plan with you to get things done. This may be negotiating in or out of court. We can help you to draw up agreements such as prenuptials and work out plans for your children’s futures if you are separating or getting divorced.

In cases involving social workers we can get on board immediately and start helping you to change what may look like a negative situation to a more positive outcome for you and your children.
